I can't 'Like" anything about Lindsay's having Parkinson's, but I learned a lot about his life and racing reading this. I've known Lindsay since the '70s. He's always been a gentleman and a fine guy on and off the bike. I'm truly sorry to hear about his illness...
This biography was thrilling. I have watch his progress over the years and he is hands down the tough competor you need on your team. Im surprised he didn't mention his California/Nevada state road championship. I watch the group sprint, I was young, and was overwhelmed he won. When I was a child he and his wife took me under their wings, it didn't work out cause I was a rotten child. My point is he was an unbending person that stood for goodness, charity, kindness, and love. This world lost a champion bike racer and a champion human. Rip Mr Crawford.
It’s rare to find such an agreeable guy like Lindsay, and it’s an honor calling him a friend.
Terrific piece, Gary. I didn't see the story in Paved, so I'm glad you reposted it here.
Thanks, Matthew.
Lindsay is a treasure.
As is Estelle ❤️
